@kimwier (Should I Reply or Comment to the posts? here’s a “reply”) I haven’t read 1st Corinth for the week yet, but I agree It’s a fine line to balance love with truth. I had a conversation with a believer-friend this summer about her local church which is known to be super welcoming toward same sex couples. She explained that their (Bible believing) church just tries to keep the door wide open to them and prays they come to know Christ. And trust Him to change them.
So is that “compromising” as a church? Or is it loving them, knowing that we all are sinners? (rhetorical questions for thought, both for me and others)
